Lessons
Lessons take place in the studio at Mikki's home. Please email mikkistudio@yahoo.com for an appointment.
Violin Lessons are offered on a one-on-one basis. Students of the beginner, intermediate or advanced levels are all welcome. Mikki is experienced with RCM Practical Exam preparations and had prepared students for exams ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
Theory Lessons are offered either on a one-on-one basis or in a small group setting depending on the need of the student. Students of all instruments are welcome. Mikki is experienced with RCM Exam preparations of all levels, from Preliminary Rudiment up to Gr. 5 Harmony & Counterpoint/Analysis.
Ear Training are offered to students who wish to focus on developing their skills on identifying rhythms, intervals, chords and harmony. Instructions are designed to suit the need of each individual student, whether they are for the development of musicianship or exam preparations. Students who play an instrument other than the violin or piano are also welcome. Mikki uses mostly the piano to carry out the instructions but students may bring in their own instrument if desired.
Piano Lessons are offered to students of the beginner level on a one-on-one basis. Mikki teaches the basic mechanics of piano playing and music reading. Students will learn the fundamentals as well as comprehension of music.
